From Nightlife Pioneer to Restaurateur

Mark Rich Consulting was founded by Mark Rich, a seasoned entrepreneur with 22 years of experience in the Las Vegas nightlife industry and 28 years of owning and operating three successful Italian restaurants, Mark Rich's New York Pizza and Pasta. In addition, he also had the privilege of owning Salud Mexican Bistro with his daughter for two wonderful years. Mark's passion for helping small businesses thrive and grow stems from his own journey as a business owner. With a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that small businesses face, Mark is dedicated to providing personalized solutions that drive sustainable growth and success. Arriving in Las Vegas in 1974 he was one of the city’s first DJs long before nightclubs became a staple within the casinos. His early career was shaped by the vibrant energy of the town and he had the privilege of running Paul Anka’s Jubilation, a hotspot that played a defining role in Las Vegas nightlife. During his time in the entertainment scene he brought numerous iconic concert groups to the city including the Beach Boys and legendary Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge. After his time in the nightclub industry he transitioned into the culinary world and became the proud owner and operator of his own restaurants, continuing his legacy of creating unforgettable experiences in Las Vegas.

Giving Back and Staying Involved

Through my years in Las Vegas, I built lasting connections with our community through food and service. Today, I am focused on giving back to the community that supported my restaurant and clubs for so many years. One of the most rewarding parts of my life is being a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters, where I mentor an incredible 16-year-old who inspires me every day. Additionally, I stay active in my community by serving as a little league and high school baseball umpire, combining my love for sports with my commitment to helping others. These opportunities allow me to remain connected and contribute meaningfully to the lives of those around me.  

Spreading Joy with Finley, my Therapy Dog

Everywhere I go Finley, my therapy dog, brings joy and comfort to those around us. Whether it’s visiting assisted living facilities, brightening the day at the DMV, offering companionship in private homes, or bringing smiles to hospitals and schools, Finley has a way of lifting spirits. Her gentle nature and cheerful presence make her a perfect companion for these visits, where we aim to spread kindness and positivity to people from all walks of life. Together, we create small moments of happiness that can make a big difference in someone’s day.
